On day 01 you arrive in Venice’s airport, you will be transferred to your respective hotels. You will meet your tour guide and travelling companions at the Welcome Dinner.
Day 02 starts with a boat ride to Murano Island, famous for its artistic glassware. The visitors will have an opportunity to watch a demonstration of traditional Venetian glass blowing by master. After which the travelers will have an opportunity to take a walking tour of St. Mark’s Square. The travelers have a chance to visit St. Mark’s Basilica and the Doge’s Palace, Bell Tower and Bridge of Sighs. The rest of the day can be used to enjoy Venice at your own pace.
Drive to Ferrara, a Renaissance gen in the Emilia-Romagna region and explore the town. After an orientation tour, continue to Pisa where you’ll view the famous Piazza dei Miracoli (the leaning tower), Baptistery and Duomo. The day ends with a drive back to Florence for dinner, the rest of the day is all for yourself.
Day 04 involves a morning tour to the majestic Pizza del Duomo to see the Cathedral crowned by Brunelleschi’s Dome, Giotto’s Bell Tower and the Baptistery with Ghiberti’s splendid bronze "Gates of Paradise”. After which the travelers get an opportunity to visit the Academy of Fine Arts that displays Michelangelo‘s David. The tour ends at Piazzale Michelangelo with a spectacular view of Florence. The remaining day can be used fruitfully by exploring the Renaissance splendor of the Tuscan capital.
On day 04, the travelers will have a great opportunity to see the world renowned panorama of Tuscany that include its iconic landscapes as you travel to Assisi, the hometown of St. Francis. While in Assisi take a walking tour of the main square and visit the exquisite Basilica of St. Francis. Travel back to Rome to enjoy a delicious dinner. Spend the rest of the day shopping in Rome.
On the sixth day of the tour the travelers will enjoy the aristocracy of Rome. The Vatican Museums with moving Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica are some of the famous monuments that adorn the city. Other Important monuments and sites that will be covered in the tour include the Colosseum, the imperial Palace, Roman Forum and the ancient Palatine Hill overlooking Circus Maximus.
On day 7 the tour guide will provide suggestions on how to spend your time visiting the various monuments and important sites in Rome. Most travelers use the opportunity to visit local shops, museums, galleries and so on. The roads and old buildings in Rome are a treat to watch as well. Try the delicious local cuisines and wines, you will be blown away by the quality of the produce. A festive farewell dinner will be hosted by us for you and your fellow travelers marking the end of the trip.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure.
