Some of the best airlines operate direct flights between the USA and India. These long-haul flights cover a distance of thousands of miles, between the two countries, in roughly 14-17 hours. Currently, direct flights from the USA to India operate from different cities in the US to different cities across India.

What is a direct flight?

A direct flight is one which takes you to your final travel destination, without you having to change flights, in-between. A direct flight can make one or two stops before it flies you to your destination. A few passengers may get off and new passengers may board the flight during these stops. A direct flight must not be confused with a non-stop flight. It does not fly you to your destination, without halts.
