Due to the reason incidents related to Corona virus outbreak and the confusion surrounding the same the airline has waived off change fees for customers traveling through April 30, 2020. These offers are valid for tickets purchased before March 1st, 2020. Customers are only required to pay the fare difference if any. 

As per an update from the airlines as on 3rd March 2020, the airlines are suspending operations to and from Seoul, South Korea. This is due to the reduction in demand, says the airline. February 29, 2020, the airline has also suspended operations to Milan on account of low demand. American Airlines has halted all flights to and from China and Hongkong as well for the time being. Most of these suspended flight routes are expected to resume from April 25, unless any further notice on the same. British Airways

British Airways as per its policies formulated based on the recent contingencies affecting the world as a whole, decided to provide change fee waiver programs to its customers. 

Due to the recent events that unfolded due to the effects of COVID 19, British Airways have issued certain policies and guidelines to facilitate its customers to ease their concerns a little.

The policy is available for bookings made between 3rd March 2020 and 31st March 2020. Fare difference if any must still be paid during the time of re-booking. The airlines introduced this policy to assist customers who are facing uncertainty with regard to their booking. The customers are given a voucher for the price of the ticket booked and the customer can use this voucher to further book their flight ticket on a future date. The voucher should be redeemed within 12 months of the original date of departure. Cathay Pacific

Cathay Pacific Airways is based in Hong Kong and is considered one of the founding members of “Oneworld”. The airline serves more than 90 destinations in about 35 countries across the world. 

Cathay Pacific is offering free refunds to flights traveling to certain destinations. In case you booked through a travel agent like Taj Travel, call them directly to process your cancellation.

Cathay Pacific has said in their website that in case of partly used flight tickets, if the end destination of the tickets leads to one of the above mentioned countries and if the ticket satisfies all the other conditions, the airline would issue a refund for the part of the flight that has not yet been flown. 

In case the flight ticket has been bought from a travel agent like Taj Travel, contact the travel agent for processing the same. 

In case you have booked a flight to through or from Hong Kong on or before 4th February 2020 for travel until 31st March 2020, the airlines will waive off re-booking and rerouting fees.

Delta Air Lines

Delta is one of the major airlines headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Delta serves more than 200 million people every year. The airline has an extensive network of 300 destinations in 50 countries. 

As concern continues about the deadly effects of COVID 19, Delta has taken measures to adjust flight schedules to the affected areas. Emirates

Emirates is headquartered in Dubai, UAE. The airline is a state owned and operated airline, a subsidiary of the Emirates Group, owned and operated by the Investment Corporation of Dubai.

Etihad

Etihad allows one free date for flight tickets booked between 8th March 2020 to 7th April 2020. If the government has issued a travel advisory strongly recommending its people not to fly to a particular country then in such cases Etihad will usually allow one date change for flights commencing till 30th June 2020. Turkish Airways

Tickets purchased between March 6 and March 24 will be excluded from change fees. Only one date change will be performed free of cost. For tickets purchased before 5th March 2020 for flights traveling till 31st December 2020, the flight changing request is applied free of charge, if the change is completed within 16 March 2020.
